The Sound of 1963

The music of 1963 The Musical “A Very British Invasion” is entirely original. Drawing inspiration from the energy, optimism and unforgettable sound of early 1960 Britain and the dawn of the British Invasion. The score beautifully blends those classic sounds with the heart of traditional musical theatre storytelling.

From driving rock-and-roll numbers and heartfelt ballads to rousing ensemble pieces, audiences will hear the authentic sounds and spirit of that wonderful era. The same spirit that inspired The Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermits, The Who and so many other beloved bands. This is not a jukebox musical. It is a fully original theatrical production created to capture the heart and hope of a generation chasing friendship, love, ambition and a brighter future beyond the docks.

Whether you lived in that era or are discovering its magic for the first time, come experience the excitement and optimism of a generation as this powerful, authentic story brings that unforgettable time vividly to life.
